Itinerant, renegade scholar. Well connected and well traveled. Has taken tea and vodka with many strange mutants and weird gods.

Education:

From the first through the seventh grades I attended the prestigious St. Bernard's School in New York City, which gave me a good, solid primary education and additionally, perhaps, scarred me for life. Thereafter, I went to boarding school for two years in an all boy's Catholic school run by Benedictine monks in the woods of Rhode Island. Successfully fleeing from boarding school, I escaped to high school in New York City at Friend's Seminary, a 200 year old Quaker school. From 1983-1988 I pursued a bachelor's degree in Classics at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Later I moved to Seattle where I was foolish enough to embark upon a graduate career in Classics at the University of Washington between 1991 and 1998. I also spent much of my time pursuing arcane lore and Turkish and Persian studies at the Near East Department.
